About Us
Watt Women in STEM is a student-led society focused on supporting female students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths at Heriot-Watt University. Our mission is to empower our members to achieve their potential by offering a range of events, both industrial and social, to develop their skills and broaden their networks.
Want to meet students outwith your course? We have a number of social events throughout the year to create a community of female STEM students at Heriot-Watt university!
We organise and run a number of industry events including site visits, professional talks and workshops to enhance your university experience and prepare our members for work.
We take pride in our outreach programs, teaching younger pupils about STEM subjects and encouraging females into engineering and the sciences.
